I got to watch him play at the Convo Center when I was younger and my grandmother had season tickets for men's basketball. My grandmother used to work at JMU (admissions and later financial aid), so often players would come talk to her after the games (if they spotted her in the crowd). Kenny was one of the few players that would come talk to her at least 1 time every season he played for JMU. He seemed like a nice guy the few times I got to talk to him and I have heard that most players enjoy playing for him. I do think he would be a good hire for VT. I am not sure VT can pull him away from that part of the Valley especially since he went to Waynesboro High School and I believe most of his family still lives around Waynesboro.
